Posted - Jul 22 2009 : 09:10:54 AM Hello fellow farmgirls from the beautiful prairies of North Dakota. I am a 47 yr. young grandma of 5, mom of 3 and married to the most romantic, wonderful man of my dreams, although it took me 40 yrs. to find him. We live on the farm his dad was born on and when we moved in it needed alot of TLC. It has been a slow process, but it is beautiful now. I work full time as the manager of our local soil conservation district 35 miles from home, so each day it is off to work I go. I love my job, but I love helping in the fields more, so on Jan. 14, 2010, I will become a full time farm wife!!! I love to garden, can, sew, crochet and read and of course spending time with all the little people in my life. I am truly looking forward to getting to know all the wonderful farmgirls on this site. Have a wonderful day everyone

Posted - Jul 25 2009 : 09:15:22 AM Julie, I was visiting my mom in Minneapolis, near Brooklyn Center. We lived in Roseville, suburb of St. Paul. My son just purchased a house in Roseville (lived near Como Lake before that). We had recreational property which my son now has near Willow River and sold a small lake cabin on Big Bass Lake near Akeley. JoAnn P.S. Don't think I'll be making the drive again. I usually take the train but during the summer it's very expensive, not found of flying |
