Welcome Cindy, hope you enjoy the forum. I have a not cat. She's not my cat. I'm more of a dog person but my not cat adopted me about 4 years ago and been thru 2 moves with me. Wouldn't give a dime for her but wouldn't take a million bucks for her.

Sisters you have all made my day, I never expected so many warm welcomes !!
A big Hug & welcome to all the other new farmgirls I see signing up also! Tanna my Zen is Black also! He is big with long beautiful hair that he keeps spit polished. I wish he was a cuddler but he would rather bite. When he lounges around he crosses his front legs and lays out his back legs so he looks like a frog. He has a positive attitude though and we love him !!

Welcome Cindy,

We had a cat named Zen! He was such a sweet black cat. He passed away last October.
Now we just have Minerva. She isn't as sweet and cuddly as Zen was but very independent and playful.

Anyway welcome to the site. Everyone is so helpful I'm sure you'll love it. Can't wait to get know you!

Welcome, Cindy! I am a NY Farmgirl and cat lover (newly recruited) as well. I adopted a stray last fall, a little stripy thing that came into our yard from seemingly no where. He was sick and starving, but now ($300 later) he is the bestest house cat and particularly devoted to me! I am actually more of a dog lover but I tell Michelangelo that he is almost like a dog and I am crazy about him:)

So...since we had such a success with him...I decided to go ahead and feed our most recent appearance, who is not sick but was definately hungry. We've named him Valentine, and since I have no $$ for vet at this point, he is our "outside" kitty. And somehow I have become almost as crazy about him, too!

Welcome to the site! (And welcome to Zen, too)

Carrie
