Posted - Aug 14 2009 : 12:07:53 PM Hi everyone! Well, for once I didn't lurk for weeks or months before joining a forum.... I found this and just jumped right in!!! This is great! I'm a country girl at heart and live on a sort of farm, lol! At least there is lots of acreage, but no farm animals just yet! I have a big garden though, and am looking forward to getting some chickens soon, just waiting on husband to build a coop. I would love, love, love a cow, and it's always been my dream to own a horse. Kids are all grown now, but I have 2 golden retriever fur-babys. Anyone else here from NY state? Time to go read all the posts! Brenda |

Posted - Aug 24 2009 : 10:28:25 PM Welcome, Brenda. I was born in Buffalo, grew up in Newfane, lived in Lockport and Niagara Falls. But that was a long time ago. I've been out here since '95 and love it.
I can understand jumping right in, here. These gals are the best and you'll just love them!

Posted - Aug 20 2009 : 6:20:11 PM Well thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I am very slowly finding my way around, and spending waaayyy too much time on here reading all the interesting posts! I am liking this a lot! It's nice to see some other NY girls on here, I wish we were all closer, I'm a bit jealous of all you midwest and northwest girls who live near each other!
Sheila: It is a small world! I am on the other side of the bay from Shaker Heights! I love it up here, except for when we get big snowstorms, lol!
