Posted - Aug 21 2009 : 05:02:28 AM Hi I'm Carrie from a South western suburb of Chicago. I live in town with a small yard, but I'm learning to garden, I'm getting some chickens, I started playing guitar and fiddle, and I want to learn as much as I can about being a "Farm girl". I work full time in an office, but the minute I walk out that door, I'm "country". I'm hoping to join a farmgirl chapter, I have emailed a couple local ones that I saw listed, but no response yet. Glad to meet all of you! |

Posted - Aug 21 2009 : 3:20:04 PM Welcome! I'm a "neighbor" - I'm north of you - up by the zoo. I'd love to have some chickens, but I'm sure my neighbors would complain. Maybe someday.
It would be great to get a chapter going with the ladies here that post in our area.
