We raise rabbits for pets and meat, plus the kids are showing them in local fairs. We also have goats and chickens. Want to start and raise some turkeys just to try. Nice to meet yall. |

I would love to do the goat and chicken thing but hubby is just kind of dragging his heels right now. I think he would like more land for that.

Posted - Sep 14 2009 : 10:06:11 AM Brandee, I have a 1 Nubian who gives wonderful milk. I also have 3 Lamanchas. I am milking all 4. One of the Lamanchas has horrible milk so the cats, dogs and chickens get hers. I got a little Nubian buck to breed Sandy to this year. I have always bred her to Lamanchas. So I am really exited about this. I miss the ears.

I have 1 nubian for milk, she is great for that. I also have 5 Nigerian Dwarfs, they are good for milk too but mine are still young so i havent breed them yet still looking for the right billy ya know...lol.
