just signed up after finding the magazine in a book store in Seattle when i was up there for training...
live in the city but have planted a mini orchard and have several raised bed gardens....need to make more now that my daughter and 4 of my grandchildren live with me....
am hoping to get some pygmy goats for cutting the grass and chickens for fresh eggs and chicken manure for the garden in the near future....
does anyone else live in the southwest washington or northwest oregon area?

Welcome Ruth. I'm glad you are joining us. This is a bunch of really wonderful women. It sounds as though you live on quite a sizeable plot of land. I live in SE Washington state, in the Tri-Cities where it has been especially hot this year.

Welcome aboard,
Betty in Pasco

Welcome, don't live up where you are, I'm in southern Cal. My D-in-law and oldest grandson live in Oregon. This is a great place to come and meet, greet and learn from some great people.
