I am so happy to find Farmgirl community. What a treasure..I love reading all the forums... I long to live on a chunk of land.
My husband and I can't decide where we want to settle, so for now, we dream about it. What I love most about MaryJanesFarm magazines and websites...all the articles and all the forums remind me of sitting with my Grandmother and having the pleasure of hearing her stories about when she lived on a farm, sharing what she learned. I don't have that pleasure now. So, when I found this community, I felt excited again. Can't wait to start my Farmgirl journey... |

That's really neat that have chatted with Laurie :) I have met CJ once and then again for completion of a barter :) (wonderful barter BTW). I think some of the girls in northern CO were trying to get something planned. I haven't met anyone else yet :)

Thankyou. Is it beautiful, now, in Louisiana? I took a drive, east, in my part of the country. Oh my, it was so beautiful this past weekend. I could not have asked for more perfect driving conditions. The colors are changing.

Welcome to the forum Janna. We all share a common interest here and for those of us who didn't grow up in the life, it's a great place to learn all things farmgirl. This is where I come to practice being a farm girl so maybe once I get my land I won't be a complete dunce! LOL.

I absolutely love those magazines...I went ahead and ordered some of the past issues.
I can't wait to read them. I just happen to come across MaryJane Farm website..looking for the farmgirl material. I had no idea there was a magazine or a sisterhood.
It was meant to be...God knows my heart and sent me in the right direction...

I agree with what you said about MaryJanesFarm magazine! When I saw the magazine in my grocery store, I grabbed it and bought it. Once I got home, I began to flip pages by pages... I felt closer to home, the home in my heart. I love it!
