I so look forward to being a part of "Mary Jane Farms". I received a letter in the mail for the magazince and now I am hooked. I couldn't put the magazine down and didn't once I received it. I need this connection with down to earth sisters like myself. I was raised in the country and live in the city and wish I were back in the country.:) Unsure as to how this all work and welcome any advice. Looking forward to this new Season of my Life with Mary Jane Farm.

Appreciate the little things, for they are not really that little.

I lost a lot of mine this past August in a flood in Louisville. Something in that sewer water killed everything in my yard. I was going to move them to the farm this year. Sigh! I waited too late...

Thank you for your warm welcome. I love Peonies and all flowering plants. I am a gardener. Why do city folks get so uptight about ants? I want to move back to the country and will one day. Thanks again.

Hi, Denise. Welcome from Kentucky! :) Love your screen name. I had to give up bringing peonies to work with me because the city folks here complained about the 'black ants'. LOL! My building was built in the early 1900's and we're close to the river here, too. We have mice and the building leaks in a hard rain and water cascades down the walls. But they worry about black ants. :D Go figure!

Welcome Denise! That's how I got started too...the magazine. I can't put it down either. My mom is subscribed to it.There is so much to do on here, and the gals are as "down-to-earth" as you'll find anywhere.I'm pretty new myself, but I just started snooping around on here and now i feel like a pro. It's such fun. Hugs&Squeezles Judy
