Posted - Oct 20 2009 : 1:52:59 PM Hello everyone, My name is Rose aka Mama Rose. I just joined the group and am really excited to be here :D I'm a mother to two beautiful little ones! Tyler age 2.5 and Zoe age 10 months old. I've been married for 7.5 years now to my Dan. I work p/t, but am a full time homemaker. Our family loves all things natural and organic. We are a nature loving family. I also love to craft...crochet, needlefelting and so much more! We live in California, but will someday own our own little homestead somewhere in Oregon. I'm tryng to learn as much as I can about being self sustainable. I admire those that already know how to do all that canning (learned this summer, but have yet to do more on my own), knitting, spinning (just learned to spin on a drop spindle last month, have yet to on a wheel), etc. I guess that's why I really love the idea of the merit badges here...well, that and I use to be a girl scout when I was little, so it kind of reminds me of that :D I look forward to meeting and making new friends here. Glad to be here. Thanks!!

We named our first girl Victoria Rose for her middle name, I just love it! Your Blog site is so darling! I look forward to reading your posts and getting to know more about your interests. Some things we have yet to explore...just before we left CA we got to check out Sutters Mill area during Gold Rush Days...it will be nice to reconnect with CA a bit.
