hello. My name is Meagan...Meg for short.I am 19 years old. I am Karen Fincher's "daughter in law" so to say. her son(Michael) and i, are only engaged, but have been together for almost 4 wonderful years. Karen and everyone in the family are my family now too and i dont recognize them as any less. I love to hunt and fish and always say i should have been born in the old days. I love to do stuff naturally and to make things by hand. I love to work outside no matter what the work. I was a preschool teacher for a year but last month our daycare facility closed down. I love working with children and animals, although sometimes i get myself in over my head with the trying to save animals ordeal.lol. Well i really look forward to meeting new people here and hopefullly learning some new trades and intrests.

Welcome from MN. I understand the rescue compulsion. Over the years we've had numerous rescued
animals, including 3 pups still on milk replacer. We planned on finding homes for them but ended up with all 3! 3 kids, 3 pups. My SIL is a great rescuer but usually doesn't
have space to keep them.

Hi Meg, Welcome! Ya, I had a wonderful mom growing up. She loved ALL animals. Anything that the cat brought home became a pet til it healed and could fend for itself. I wasn't even afraid of snakes. She even let me have a pet spider(Charlie) in a jar in my bedroom window.hahaah Being raised like that is a great life for kids. I learned so much. The country is a great place for kids.I was blessed and happy.Have fun here. It's great!

Yeah!!! Another Ga. girl! I was getting a little worried there. We're getting outnumbered real quick. I am so glad you joined us. I know what you mean about saving the critters. I used to drag every little creature home when I was younger. I am slowly learning my lesson. I can't have them all.
