Hi, My name is Connie and I am from south central MN. I just love this forum.I am married (37 years) have four grown children, 12 grandchildren, been in the country on our little 5 acre plot of land for 7 years. I like to bake (attempting to make the sour dough starter), crochet, do counted cross stitch, a little sewing. We have one dog. Am thinking that I would like to try getting some chickens.
I am so glad I discovered Mary Jane's mag and this forum. Looking forward to getting to know all of you.

Hello Connie,
Welcome from N.C. I made the sour dough bread in the mag. Very easy to make. We really liked it.
I have 5 step grandbabies. They range in age from 2 years to 10 years old. They are such a joy.
Get the chickens, I'd like to get some but we have a couple foxes around here and I'm afriad they will
get them.

Welcome Connie!
I have grandbabies too! AND chickens! I never thought I was a *bird* person until we got chickens. They are wonderful and easy to take care of and the benefit of fresh eggs!

Hi Connie and welcome to the forum. Yes, we indulged in our chicken 2 years ago. I really do enjoy them, along with our other pets....and small spot on this green earth.
