Hi!!!! Farmgirl sisters! I have yet to introduce myself! This will be my first chat post My name is Jessica Alton...I go by Jess... I have been enjoying the Barter area for about a month and it is quite Awesome! I recommend it to all new sisters. I live in Jensen Beach FL on a gorgeous river. My neighbor and I are planning on growing our own garden...florida style! I have lived in many places born in New Hampshire, first few years spent in Mass, second few years in California, then raised in VA for ten years...off to college in Asheville NC...lived in Portland Oregon for a year and now have been in FL for eight years. I am so glad to be a part of this wonderful creation! I got connected by mary jane's magazine...now have the book and just loving this wonderful collective!
with gratitude,
jess

Hi Jess, thanks for the welcome! My husband just returned from visiting his folks in Florida, I teased he'd be getting home in time to make snow angels. I think for those who can homebirth is wonderful, it is not for everyone and I suppose it took a a lot of faith, I was so blessed to have all 5 of my children born at home.
Sounds like you have done some traveling. Gardening in Florida should be intersting with the loong growing season.
Looking forward to getting better acquainted with this sisterhood!! Laurie
