Posted - Feb 14 2010 : 4:15:59 PM My name is Maryan. I have been interested in farmgirl sisterhood for a couple of years and just decided to join. I grew up on a small farm in northern Arkansas and after raising my family I have been blessed to come back to this farm and try to bring it back to life. WHAT A JOB. I love it. I just lost my outside job, but that may be a blessing. My husband makes enough to pay the bills, so now I can be what I truly am at heart-a farmgirl- . I love all the news and helpful info. on this site. This is wonderful. I am so excited to be a part of the farmgirl family. |

Oh, and the stars appear after you have so many posts. They just keep coming and they automatically change colors. Each color represents so many posts. Mine just changed again last week. It's so much fun.

Posted - Feb 15 2010 : 07:49:13 AM Thanks to everyone for the friendly welcome. It is so nice to be a part of a group of women who understand what it means to love the simple life. I have a question, What do the stars and colors mean after the names. I have looked all over the site to try and figure it out, just have not found the right spot yet. Something to do with merit badges maybe? O by the way I am blond too. And proud of it, a little gray mixed in now, but thats life. ;) |
