Hello to all farmgirls,

I am 34, married for 12 years, and have two beautiful children. My husband is the Assistant Director of Monadnock Bible Conference. We have lived here for almost six years, and I am falling in love with country living and the domestic life. I am a stay at home mom, seamstress, and budding farmgirl

Some of my favorite things are playing piano, sewing, crocheting, baking, gardening, giving to others, managing/organizing stuffs, etc...

Anyway, I am so looking forward to 'meeting' many of you, throughout the threads.

~ Holly

Hi Holly from Virginia, This place (Mary Jean) is in many ways a God sent thing for girls who wondered if there where others out their like them. Guess what there are hundreds of us out there now we just need to find ways to take and get together what fun and love learning and sharing. Lilly

Hey all!!!

Thanks SO much for the "wicked" warm welcomes!!! I am so blessed!

Channah ~ Thanks! I commend you for the amount of posting you do! amazing!

Jan ~ I actually grew up in Groton, CT. I am a ocean lover who is sitting at the foot of an amazing mountain. I often return to CT for some good home salt air!

Diane ~ I LOVE your Wisconsin welcome!!! So fun, I can read your accent in it, too!!! That's GREAT!

Dawn ~ Thanks for saying HI! I've heard your area of the country is absolutely gorgeous!

Liz ~ it is fun to "chat" with those of similar interests! It's also good to see another New Englander, too! There are many farmgirls at heart up here, and those who really are farm girls, too :)

LuAnne ~ Silver Ranch is STILL here! They still have horses, give lessons and all that cool stuffs! My daughter is going to visit a barn/stable tomorrow, but it is a newer business here in town, called "Only on a horse". We are hoping to start her riding lessons within the week! Jaffrey is a wonderful little New England town!

Brenda ~ Thanks for the excellent welcome!

Kayce ~ Thanks for the warm welcome! How is the sunshine in your state ;)

Carol ~ Yes, New Hampshire is a beautiful state! a GREAT place to visit...

Amie ~ Never climbed the mountain :) I live right at the base of Mt. Monadnock. The State Park entrance is the next road! Thanks for the welcome!

Hi Holly !

Welcome to the group! I grew up in eastern Vermont and went to college in Antrim, NH. On weekends we occasionally went to Jaffrey to go horseback riding. I think the name of the place was Silver Ranch? It might not even be there any more. Don't count on my memory, though - that was about 30 years ago!
