Posted - Feb 21 2010 : 09:48:09 AM Hello from Muncie, Indiana. I am a newbie! Having read through my first MaryJanesFarm Magazine, I am hooked. I look forward to revisiting my past days as a farm girl and my future days as a farm woman. My DH is waiting for his Sunday Lunch. I keep telling him just one more minute. He caved and said "Enjoy myself," he would fix dinner. He is still a keeper after 38 years.
Looking forward to meeting everyone. Buzzn Bee |

Posted - Mar 06 2010 : 8:24:16 PM Deborah you really kept them busy while you was in the hospital! But seriously, I do hope you are doing better. Twelve years ago I had a heart cath. and they had to put in two stints. Have done well since. But since I need back surgery, now I have to go through all the heart test to be sure surgery would be safe. Just a precaution, and I"m glad, it makes me feel better about dong the surgery when that is all done. You have some changes to make with the heart,bp, and diabetes. Still trying to get DH to eat correctly for his diabetes. But I'm glad your home and a fast recovery.Remember it just takes time, one step at a time. My prayers are going out for you girlfriend. Take care and keep us informed on how you are doing.
Blessings, Brenda

Posted - Mar 06 2010 : 8:02:04 PM Sisters, Thank You for the big Howdy Do's and Welcomes. I just returned home from the Hospital. I had a severe case of bronchitis and pneumonia. And if that were not enough, while there, I ended up with a heart catherization. Found out I have high blood pressure and diabetes.
Whew! makes me tired to even type it. I am feeling much better. Returning home from the hospital, I found my package with my membership number and a book I ordered. Love it!!!!
I am really looking forward to joining a hen house or whatever comes next. You ladies sound so sincere and caring. Looking forward to moving forward. It's nice to be one of you all.

Posted - Feb 21 2010 : 7:35:51 PM Welcome Deborah. Sounds like you have a great guy there. Mine is pretty self sufficient too. Of course, he was a bachelor for 51 years and an Army retiree, so he'd better know how to make a PB&J sammich! lolol Welcome Sista!
