Posted - Feb 22 2010 : 4:15:50 PM Thanks for letting me join.
Our daughters have grown up and it's just hubby and I now along with all the animals/livestock here on the homestead.
If anyone needs or wants any snow, I got over 8" last night and would like to give it away. I just don't have need of it and I'm tired of trudging around in it to do chores and get wood in.
I'm very ready for spring!
Have a good evening and I'm off to peek around the forum to see what all is here!
Shar

Posted - Feb 28 2010 : 3:18:06 PM Hi Shar from Virginia. We got snow this year which is not a thing that happens often to us. Over all we received 13 inches. For us that is a lot for many years we do not get any. We have also had a real winter this year. Really it has been nice but my husband is tired of cutting wood for the stove. I hope you find a nice time with all these farm girls. Stay warm. Lilly

Posted - Feb 23 2010 : 10:22:38 AM Welcome Shar! PA has been blanketed with snow for a bit this winter, too. Now, it's raining. Between the 2 - I honestly prefer snow. Oh, well. I generally love whatever season we're in. But warm, sunshine would be very welcome today. Enjoy poking around the forum - there is soooo much good stuff here - mostly good farmgirls!
