Posted - Mar 03 2010 : 06:10:36 AM Hi everyone. I just stumbled on this forum a couple of days ago, and already I am in love!! We are city dwellers right now, but I grew up in the country, and I hope to get back there some day.
I am a pastor's wife and homeschooling mom to my first grader and 20 month old little boys. What started as a quest for frugality has sparked in me a longing for a slower, simpler life.

Posted - Mar 03 2010 : 2:18:09 PM Welcome from MN. I found this site last fall and love it here. You will find other home schoolers here, in fact it would be great if a board could be set up for that particular group. We home schooled our 3 kids till high school and wouldn't have traded a minute of it. They are adults now and doing well. There is so much to learn and share here as well as great friends, from all parts of this country and some others, to be made. Best wishes on your hopes and plans for a simpler life and a chance to get back to the country. A lot of being a farmgirl is a state of mind, not geography, so you can get started before you actually get out in the country.
