Posted - Mar 03 2010 : 10:53:45 AM Hello! I was given a subscription to MJ's magazine by my wonderful mother-in-law. I debated on becoming a member because I was (and am still a bit) afraid of spending too much time on the computer. Well, I decided I'd just discipline myself and so I'll be keeping an hourglass nearby. When it's done, so am I! I live in So. Cal. by necessity, but dream of a coastal farm. Sewing, weaving and beading are my passions. Cooking, baking and gardening give me fulfillment. I am amazed by all the talented and kind farmgirls here...I look forward to getting to know many of you.
Therese

Posted - Mar 03 2010 : 7:29:53 PM Welcome Terese from a Wisconsin farmgirl. I have the same problem with the computer so, I spend 1/2 hour in the morning with my coffee reading posts. I also am on at night when I take a break from my latest project. It is worth the time to be on this forum. We are so glad you joined us.

Posted - Mar 03 2010 : 11:58:46 AM Howdy and Welcome Theresa, From NE Ohio. I think a lot of us got here by, somebody giving us the magazine. At least you sound disciplined. That's a good start. lol A lot of the girls have said that they set timers so that they could keep track of their time spent on here. It does tend to get away from you since there is so much great material to read. But for me it's like school....I'm learning so much....so it isn't time wasted!!! Jump on in...and learn! ;-)
