Yep, I am a farmgirl newbie to the forum, but not to farming. I grew up with only a little brother, and always wanted a sister. From reading all the posts it looks like just by joining I will get the "sisters" I had always dreamed of as a child. I look forward to absolutely everything. I am excited to know you all!

Hugs, Laurie

Hello, from south central Kansas, southeast of Wichita. I am a 53 year-old mother of 3 grown or almost grown daughters. My husband and I own about 40 acres. We don't farm but I grew up on a farm in Missouri. I garden a little bit but not muc. I mostly grow flowers but I love fresh garden tomatoes. I have too many hobbies such as family history, sewing, cross-stitch, watercolor painting, loom knitting, desktop publishing, reading, loom knitting, etc. I love arts and crafts. I, also, like to dance and have taken belly dance classes. My husband and I do some traveling and hiking a few times a girl. To help fund my hobbies, I work as a para-educator at a middle school. My husband is a maintanance electrician at an aircraft company, but he is country at heart.
