Hello Farmgirls!

I live in a small town in far South Central Oklahoma called Tishomingo and yes, you can only get there by going on purpose. I recently retired from accounting and found my "calling" in farmgirls. I love repurposing old stuff, making things with my own two hands and have enjoyed gardening and yard work for years. My husband and I will be retiring to our land in Wagoner County Oklahoma in 2 years when he also retires where I look forward to doing all things "farm". Love to see what everyone else is doing to make old new again!

Thanks so much for the warm welcome from everyone. I am still trying to figure out how to use the connection. My computer skills have been limited to accounting mostly so it may take me awhile to get the hang of this but it is so wonderful to find a site that treasures what I do and has good grace and wholesome content!

Keep up the love to each other farmgirls!

Hi fellow Okie. I think we're only about 40 miles apart. I live in the sticks, my closest neighbor is about a mile away. Love it.

Hey Patricia. welcome from Ga. I just about reuse everything around here. All kinds of containers become feed scoops and bolws for critters. I can't throw anything away.
