I started receiving the magazine last month and was instantly hooked for life! I can not wait to jump in and get wet!!! I joined the sisterhood and will most likely sign my daughter up for the kids group also....Brief history my husband and I and our two children live on five acres in north east PA, we have bunch of four and two legged critters and a huge garden also.....Technically not a farm...yet ..lol but we call our place Bare Foot Farm. I am super excited to get to know everyone and and make some new friends!!!!!!

Posted - Mar 20 2010 : 08:24:53 AM My hubby grew up in Fowler, Ohio. We know where you live. We have been there. We liked to go to the Deer Park in Jamestown.
We live in south Texas now. We moved here in July. We don't miss the Northeast Ohio winters.
You will love it here. I just started getting MJF mag and I had to join the sisterhood. Everyone is so nice and welcoming.

Kris, my Daughter is nine and would love a pen pal, she loves to send and receive mail, let me know and we will swap some addresses! The Bare Foot Farm name is more of a lifestyle lol. My kids and I never have shoes on at home and when we do its usually flip flops haha

Your farm sounds like mine. We just have 3 acres but they are full of cows, goats, chickens, dogs and cats. And gardens. So join right in and have fun.
