Good Morning Ladies,
I'm Donna Jo new farmgirl #1331. My farmette is in Indiana, we have horses and lots of chickens and gamebirds and we raise exhibition poultry. In fact we are building onto the chicken house as we speak, I just added 120 new layers and I have 150 arriving this week. We love to sell eggs.
I am excited to join you. I have been stitching on my farmgirl badge, just about ready to attach it to my jeans jacket. I love Mary Janes magazine so I decided to join you. You are all a lovely bunch of farmgirls! Looking forward to getting to know you all!!

Good morning Farm Girls. I am a new MaryJanes farm girl from Havana, Florida. My husband and I have an acre garden, just planted. We are in the process of enlarging our chicken pen, I have 6 laying hens and hopefully will get about 6 more and another rooster. We have lived on our farm for 25 years, and retired three years ago. After reading Mary Janes Farms I decided to get back to the basics. Even putting up a clothesline. Interested in cooking, gardening, oil artist, I knit, crochet, sew, and many other crafts. We have 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Alice Smith: alicesmith70@hughes.net Love to hear from some farm girls.

Thank you so much for all the warm welcomes! I am thrilled to join you. I will keep you posted on all my chickens. The addition to the chicken house is shaping up nicely. We dumpster dive for some of the parts we use. All of my individual pens have old screen doors that we have recycled out of the trash, and we also used old windows people have tossed. It kind of looks like an old quilt pieced together,
I just love the way it looks. We did buy some new siding to put on it this time. It's wood so I will need to paint it, can't decide if I want it green or red. Have a great day ladies! Hugs, Donna Jo

Howdy from south Texas.

We are living in a development for now, so I don't have any critters but a dog. I dream of when we get out and I can have bunnies and what ever else I might want.

You will love it here!
