Posted - Apr 20 2010 : 7:20:31 PM Hi everyone. I'm so excited to have joined this connection! The first time I read MaryJane's magazine I just couldn't put it down - it was like she was speaking to ME! I still read every page - even the ads! I'm sure you all feel that way too. Anyway, just wanted to say hello, and I can't wait to start meeting new people and earning my merit badges! :) My husband and I live on a 54 acre farm in Upstate NY. We raise poultry and pork for meat and eggs, and raise heirloom vegetables. My husband owns a company called Empire Organics and produces local organic dairy products with 20 farmers here in Upstate NY. I also have sheep that I raise for wool - I've just started spinning with a wheel! Lots of cats and dogs keep me busy. Hope to meet all of you! :) |

Posted - Apr 28 2010 : 09:08:17 AM I live in Oxford, I just came back home. I would love to come visit your farm with my 3 yr old Grace. We just started with chicks and ducks, the goats are coming. So very nice to see someone from the area on here. I just sent Brenda a note asking if there was a way to do MJF get together in our area!!! Do you think we could do that?? I also would like to know if you are going to sell some of your wonderful yarn? I want to get a loom or my wonderful man is going to make me one?? Let me know. sunsetbeach0@yahoo.com Laura
