Hello!
I am Andrea. I am 31 years old and have been married to my wonderful and supportive husband for almost 12 years. We don't have any children, but we have twin 8 year old nephews, an almost 4 year old niece, a 2 year old honorary nephew, and an honorary niece on the way (any day now).

I live in Kentucky. I grew up in Southeastern Kentucky, the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. As I am typing this I live in Richmond Kentucky, which is just outside of Lexington. Within the next month I will be moving to McKee Kentucky. As I said, I live in Kentucky. :)

In the past 12 years we have lived in 5 different places all in Richmond. An apartment, a townhouse, a rented house, an apartment, and now a trailer in a trailer park. When we move we will be taking our trailer with us, on what we hope to be our final move, to McKee Kentucky. Where we own 32 acres of wooded hillside and some farmland. For the first time we will be able to plant things not in pots, but in the ground. So I guess we will literally as well as figuratively putting down roots.

I am a housewife, homemaker, whatever the current term is. I have been for almost 3 years now. In addition to moving, which seems to take most of my time these days, I quilt, sew, crochet, bake, scrapbook, pretty much anything that comes around, I will try. And now that is going to include gardening, animals, and whatever else comes up.

Sorry if I am rambling, it is one of my few faults. :)

Andrea

Don't apologize for rambling, we all ramble here. The more you ramble the better it is. LOL. You will just love it here. So many wonderful people, with such big hearts. Enjoy!

Thanks everyone for the welcome.
Judy, I have never lived near Corbin, but when my husband isn't under my feet he works in London which is the next town over from Corbin. It is about 40 mins from our place in McKee, thankfully he only has to go there one day a week.

Welcome, Andrea, from a Northern Kentucky girl, born and bred in the Bluegrass, too! Sounds like you're getting ready to live out your farmgirl fantasy! Enjoy the site--love the Richmond area, so close to beautiful places, and Lexington, where you can get your city fix if need be.

Andrea,

Welcome to the site. Have you ever lived near Corbin, KY? I hope you enjoy the site. Speaking of McKee, I have a dear friend who used to live in McKee a few years ago. Still has family there!
