Hi,

I am from Virginia and not only am I new to this board, but I am new to farming all together. I am a born and raised city girl and due to some life circumstances I am now living with my husband on a beautiful farm. It's not a working farm right now, but our goal is to one day see it up and running.

I'm so excited to be a part of this community!

Hi! Where are you in VA? I am near Danville and South Boston, also close to the NC/VA border.
Maybe we're neighbors!

Siobhan - My best friends live in the Shen Valley; it is gorgeous there!!!! Also, I noticed you live in Battle Creek MI - my husband is from Kalamazoo, MI not far from you. He grew up on a HUGE farm there. he came south for the warmer weather and the longer growing season.... :D

Welcome! I grew up in VA in the Shen. Valley. I miss it a lot, but my parents still live there, so I get to go back and visit every once in a while. I'll be going in JUly for a wedding. Yay! How lucky are you to get to live on a farm. I hope that someday you and your hubby will get it up and working!
