Posted - May 07 2010 : 1:19:15 PM We're on 7.25 acres here in the high desert foothills, and I want to have a mini farm, something doable. Look forward to meeting any Montanans and hearing how they have made it happen in this area! I am so happy there is a sisterhood of like-minded women out there, and a place where we can come together! Hurray!

Isn't Emigrant near Gardiner and Yellowstone? I lived in Gardiner one summer, way back in 1984, while working for the Forest Service.
My daughter and I were last there a few years back, in early April, and were able to stay at the Best Western with a room over the Y'stone River for a reasonable price.
Nice area! Are you a native Montanan?
