Posted - May 10 2010 : 12:02:19 PM I'm Sky. I live in a suburb of Atlanta, but my parents own 50 acres down further South. Just this past weekend after three beautiful days of watering the gardens, planting beans, and walking 'round the apple trees, my mama said "Well, why don't y'all just knock down the cabin and build yourselves a little house out back?!"
Well, why don't we? Any longings I had before, are full fire now, much to my Mr.'s chagrin. I'm a foster mama, a knitter, a bread baker and a dreamer. And someday (maybe sooner than we thought), I'll be a true farmgirl, too! |
