Hi my husband and I live in Brevard, NC on our mini farm. We have miniature horses, nigerian dwarf goats, banty chickens, a cat and a special lil chihuahua named Cricket. I love critters, gardening, sewing and crafts. We have a big garden and bale our own hay, it's a great life. Thank you for letting me join in, I'm looking forward to learning from you all.

Hi Julie,
We got Cricket at a local flea market when she was 5 weeks old. We had just lost our lil boy chi, Peanut, we had him for 12 years. We were heart broken and not looking for another baby. The crowds parted and there she was. On the way home we stopped for her a potty break and a cricket hopped out of the tall grass startling her and making her hop too. So Cricket she became. Still today she hops around like crazy living up to her name. Sorry took so long to respond cutting hay time.

Cristi,
There seems to be a lot of farmgirls from eastern TN; I am in the Nashville area. We've been going to NC every year since I was little right around the Highland area. I love the NC mountains!
Welcome again!
