Hi there! As you can tell, I'm new here! I'm so excited to be a part of this community and can't wait to dive in. Let's see, I live in Portland with my husband and 3 dogs (two Jack Russells and a Min Pin). I absolutely love embroidery and cross stitch and help run a craft forum and have a silly blog. I grew up in North Carolina so I think I'm a southern small town girl at heart.

Pam,

My dear little jack russell passed away from heart failure, too. Wonder if that is typical of jacks? She was a little hunter, too. She was my "furbaby" and it broke our hearts when she passed. I have a rescue dog, now. She's a husky-shepard, and is just the BEST, but I will always have a soft spot in my heart for dobies and jack russells! Take care!

Texdane-we did have three Jacks. The mom, the dad and one of their babies. Kato (the dad) was 18 when he passed away-he had congestive heart failure. Lola is the mom and Jujube is her baby. Pete is the Min Pin rescue. He is a handful! I'm so sorry about your dobie. We don't have children so our pups are our babies. Lola and Jujube are hunters for sure-Pete is...well, he's Pete. LOL!

As far as my forum name-it started about 10 years ago. A group of friends and I were discussing what would be our James Bond girl/Film Noir names and I said mine would be Kitty Kill and I would have a Russian accent. It stuck and now all over the internet I'm known as kittykill. I think more people know me as kittykill or Pamkitty than my real name. ;)

I have to say, I am so amazed at how kind, warm and welcoming everyone is. I'm really blown away!

Welcome Pam! I grew up in Oregon, but moved to WA last summer. We lived down on the southern coast, sometimes I really miss it.
Glad to have you on board, you will love it here. Be warned, it is addicting!

Welcome from Connecticut... okay, I have to ask...what does your forum name mean? I see you have jack russells and a min pin. Would love to see you post a pic. I lost my beloved Jack russell last year to heart failure at the age of 15. We also lost our full-size doberman to cancer last year. The jack russell was the alpha! Love jack russells, they can be rascals but are so smart and so cute. Enjoy it here!

Welcome from Sunny Florida. I started a farmgirl co-op here on this forum under "chapter chatter". Lots to do and read. Supporting fellow farmgirls is lots of fun.
Hope to see you there soon.

Welcome from Georgia, Pam. I was in Portland about 1 1/2 years ago for my uncle's funeral. Didn't get to see very much while I was there though.
