My name is Cindy and I'm so excited to be here! I've been toying with the idea of spending time in the chatrooms here at MJF for a while but now I have a really good reason. I'm a busy wife, homeschooling mom, and business owner. I haven't been taking much time for me and I decided I needed a fun motivation to keep my sewing (especially heirloom), quilting, crocheting, knitting, and embroidery projects at the front of my mind. So after thinking about it for way too long I not only signed up for the chatrooms but also as a full-fledged Farm Girl Sister. The lure of those merit badges was just too much for me!
I love all things domestic and I regularly put on my apron. I'm excited to make some more using my great-grandmother's pattern. It's exactly like one that Mary Jane sells. I still have a few of her old aprons and they just wear forever!
Today I went on a search for some cute red gingham because I want a red gingham apron. I'm in love with the idea of adding some special touches to it.
I have a dear friend who really turned me on to the magazine. Thanks Ivy! My dd and I have a hard time sharing the subscription because we're both so excited when it arrives:-)
I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you:-)
