Posted - May 26 2010 : 6:19:06 PM Hi gals! I just found this forum today and joined right up! I am always interested in 'meeting' other gals that don't spend their spare time at the mall...the only 'mall' I am aquainted is spelled "maul" and is located right next to the wood pile...lol I am not too swift at computers, so please be patient with me while I stumble trying to find my way around ;) About me? I am very happily married, we have 7 kids, we farm and ranch, and have a feedlot. We grow sugarbeets, corn, alfalfa and beans. Raise Black Angus cattle. My DH is the 4th generation to farm this place, so we've been here a while-here being 14 miles from Powell, Wyoming. I have a couple of milk cows, some Shetland Sheep, around 65 laying hens, turkeys, and rabbits. I plant a garden every year...this year twice so far, thanks to a late frigid snap I help with tractor work, driving truck for harvest, branding, calving, and about anything they can dream up-but I love it all. Life is so good! I look forward to getting to know each of you! |
