Hi fellow country gals,
I'm a displaced Iowa girl, living in the Texas Hill country, getting ready to move to the Austin suburbs. Gardener, mom and grammy - going through divorce #2. Hope to connect with other front porch loving friends!

THANK YOU ALL for your welcoming messages, it warms my heart and will keep me strong through the move. I've been in Texas since 1982 and I have 3 native Texan children, grandbaby. Guess I'm still just a transplant, lol. Look forward to getting to know all of you great country gals. hugs, v

Greetings Val,
I'm in Dallas. Originally from Chicago.
How long have you been in Texas?
Sorry to hear about the divorce.
Austin is a great college town and everyone wants to live there right now. Music capital of the southwest. Hope your move goes smoothly.
You have found a great group of gals. What ever you want and need as far as emotonal support or advice. I'm sure you will find someone on these forums to fit the bill!
Wecome!

My best to all,
Mel
