Hello All! My name is Dana and I am from Hammonton, New Jersey...the blueberry capital of the world! I am currently waiting for my sisterhood number to come in the mail! I found out about MaryJanes Farm when I was in Tractor Supply last week buying chicken feed for my chickies! I purchased her newest magazine and decided that it would be interesting to join!
I just began raising chickens this year and finally made the large garden that I have been dreaming of! I am excited to learn from everyone and join in on the swaps!

Hi Dana,

I just planted my first blueberries this year (three plants). I plan on adding three a year for a couple of years. I've had a garden for a few years. I wish I could raise chickens, but I trade eggs with my girlfriend. She has chickens and does not garden. I'm very new to Mary Jane also!

Welcome Dana! You've found a great place to share & learn! Good luck with your garden and chickens.

I thought Maine was the "blueberry capital" of the world. I had no idea it was NJ!

Sending you a warm Missouri Welcome. How many chickens do you have, I have 21 hens (6 being chicks) and 2 roosters. I have only had them for a little over a year and I cant imagine not ever having them! (expected I live in the city for most of my life! They dont take to kindly to "farm" animals) You will love it here and I just completed (giving and receiving) my first swap, it was a blast. Take a look at "damnit dolly" in the barter/swap forum and see the picture I posted of my received DD. Anyway, sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!!!!
