Hi,
I have been on the boards before a few times and register quite a way back but have never really introduced myself or been very active. I am getting ready to become an official farmgirl and am looking for a chapter who would want me. I am 43, married, living in downtown SLC,Utah. I am entering a new phrase of my life as my daughter is now done with homeschooling and I have my time for myself so I am trying to get more invloved in things "I" like so to speak. I am a recycling artist and have a small business doing furniture restoration and remakes for about 9 years now. I also did just join sisters on the fly.( Have not even checked in yet as my access to the site does not seem to be working? Just got my intro e-mail and number today #1450, but cannot figure out what I am doing wrong, anyway?) I see many of you also post here. I am excited about this new phase in my life and am ready for some new adventures. We also just bought a trailer to fix up about 6 weeks ago. I Love to sew, weave, quilt, cook, garden and soon more glamping....Hope to meet some of you in person soon. Kim Cherrine-Bell

Hi Kim - glad to have you here. My son will be going off to college next year and I'm hoping to have a little more time for "my" stuff too. I hope you enjoy it here!

A big Wisconsin hay dare to ya Kim! We are so glad you joined us. I am a little envious of your glamper...I have been looking for one, but alas, they don't seem to last very long in our harsh climate. I just got the new Sisters On The Fly book and it is awesome.

Hi Kim,

I was raised and raised my children in the Salt Lake Valley but have moved out of state to Montana. I really like the open spaces up here and the adventure and don't miss the traffic. I know that you will find a farmgirl or two down there in the area to hang out with.

Good luck.

*waving at you* Hi, welcome to Farmgirls. I am up in Evanston, WY....not to far from SLC. I know this because it seems like I am in SLC once a week lately. I know there is a active chapter in the Ogden area. Hope one of those hens sees your post. Have fun and hold on for a great ride!!!

WEll welcome Kim!!! I am down in Manti but I know there are gals up in your area...Sunshine in Herriman and Pearlsnjeans in SLC area come to mind..there are more. It is always fun to see another Utah gal. I hope we can meet up someday. Be sure to read the rural farmgirl blog this month...one of my favorite Utah gals, Libbie, in Elsinore is the new farmgirl blogging there!
If you are ever down this way I would love to meet you! Welcome to the group here...you will love it!
