So far I've only been a lurker on the chatroom, but the other day I met another Farmgirl Sister while buying some new muck boots at the Pullman Grange Supply and realized that I needed to say hello to everyone here. It seems like we're everywhere sometimes! Plus, she mentioned these arcane letters I needed to investigate: RAOK…
So, Hello Farmgirl Sisters! My name is Hallie and I am your new Video Sister. You may have seen me on the one of the merit badge videos on the new www.maryjanesfarm.tv site.
I grew up in Texas, but moved up to Washington almost a decade ago, so I am a bit of a Northwest "transplant." I'm particularly fond of sewing and knitting and am pleased as punch that I get be crafty at work. My current Great Unfinished Thing is the slow replanting of my back lawn, AKA "The Slope," into an herb/native/butterfly garden, in other words: something I don’t have to mow. 
I'm looking forward to meeting more of you!

Yes, we are working on lots of new things for the Farmgirl U at maryjanesfarm.tv! If you check out the post in Keeping in Touch, Kevin has even added a little "teaser" for one of the videos in the works.

Siobhan, thanks for the warm welcome and positive words about the video! A good button can be hard to find. Especially when you have them in "saved" in several different locations. I'm trying to get my spare buttons out of my jewelry box and organized in the button box. Oh, and I'm still kicking my self for not snapping up those pearl buttons they were selling by the pound at Silk Road in Austin so many years ago...

Hi Hallie! Good to meet you! I just went over to mjf.tv and watched your buttoned up video. You are so cute! LOL...I love how you open up the video with the line about the elusive spare button that comes with the sweater. I swear, I save every one, but can never find it again when I need it. And I had no idea that there was such a thing as a button matching service...who knew! Welcome to the forums!
