Well today is my first time reading and posting to the chat room. I have been working in my studio all afternoon and needed a break from the drumming of my sewing machine.

I am so excitied to be here. I recieved my packet in the mail yesterday, and plan on spending the evening deorating it. I have been a special educator for over 20 years and managed to raise and home school my three boys over the years. I love camping, kayaking, and hiking.

I am also a dabbler. I see new things and try them. I tablet weave, sew, embroider, crochet and knit, wire weave... anything that catches my attention ( my ADHD is showing). My constant companion is Miranda, my service dog, who is so well mannered that she backs away to calm chickens down. We do everything together.

I can't wait to read all the topics and posts here.

Welcome Robin, I enjoy knitting and crocheting too, but your tablet weaving and wire weaving sound really interesting. I just might have to check into that.

Currently finishing my " Farm Girl" badge and pot holders for the swap. I hope to have documentation of some of my merit badge work together tonight to submit.

Welcome from another new member. I can't wait to see some of your projects. Wire weaving, for example, sounds pretty challenging...
