Just wanted to say hello from the great state of Ohio! My name is Kelli Jo and I live in north central part of Ohio. I have three whose ages are: 20, 18, and 16. One son is married (with a baby due this month!), one son is engaged, and my youngest is just being a teenager. LOL I was a stay at home mom for several years but decided to go back to work part-time when my children starting leaving the nest:) I have since then started back to college as well.

My interests and hobbies are: reading, sewing, gardening, and mixed media arts.

I am so excited to be able to join this forum and look forward to chatting with all of you!

Hi Kelli Jo and welcome to MJF's. Sounds like you've a busy life even though you're becoming an empty nester. It's both a happy and sad time when they start leaving the nest. Congrats on becoming a grandma soon! I have a 2 yr old grandson I adore. It's so wonderful being a grandma :) So glad you're here and if you have any questions just give a holler and I'm sure someone will respond. Everyone here is very nice and so helpful. Not to mention smart and talented ;) Enjoy!

Brenda,
Proud of OHIO. . . of course and you should be. If we are not proud of who we are and where we are from who will be! I hope you will begin to make some friends who can help you ease into your community and who will understand when you are homesick. I wish we lived closer, but I will sit down and pretend you are sharing a glass of tea with me today and I will send you all of my very best wishes!
Fondly,
Rebecca

Welcome, Kelli Jo. We lived in Toledo, Ohio for a year and a half about 27 years ago. I liked it there and made some good friends but I think where I live now in Colorado is a great place to live.

Welcome Kelly Jo from Michigan! ( The place where everything costs more except garbage collections! LOL) Brenda you are right though, there is no place like HOME, where ever that might be. Here at MJF, we can all feel like we are home! Blessings to you both.

Hi, Kelly!

Welcome to Mary Jane's Farmgirl Connection! I am from Galion, Ohio, originally (near the airport) but have recently moved to Michigan (with a lot of stops in between, I was in Lexington, Oh, most recently)

I miss Ohio and especially North Central area. You are blessed to live tnere. Everything in Michigan costs more (except possibly trash collection... But that is crazy, right?) Traffic here is awful and I spend 2-3 hours a day in a car.... I want to go HOME!

I know you are going to love Mary Jane's.
