Posted - Aug 03 2010 : 7:20:33 PM I joined about 2 years ago but then I lost touch with the forum and recently I got a note in the mail to subscribe to Mary Janes magazine which i did- hope it comes soon. and it reminded me that I had been here before so I thought I'd reintroduce myself. Hi everyone! I'm a newbie on here from Ohio. I'm a 39 year-old mom to two wonderful boys. I have been married to a wonderful guy for the past 18 years and I love reading, writing, cooking, crafting, sewing, paper making and doll making to name a few off the top of my head. I live in the South Eastern part of Ohio in a small town called East Fultonham. I look forward to chatting with all of you wonderful farm girls!

Posted - Aug 04 2010 : 03:28:57 AM Hi Jennifer, It looks like I may have the honor of being the first to welcome you! If you like the magazine you will love the wealth of information and friendship you will find here. It is a very supportive helpful sisterhood, regardless of age, experiences and locations. There is a thread somewhere for those who love writing, I'm not exactly sure where, but take your time checking out the tremendous variety here. I'm a retired elementary teacher in Minnesota, my DH and I have 3 grown children, a huge garden, orchard and small vineyard. I love gardening, cooking, and crafting (working on woodturned lamps currently). Enjoy your time here! Susan
