Posted - Aug 04 2010 : 03:09:20 AM Welcome Pamela! You will find this is a great place to meet like minded women and share ideas. I'm right there with you on the growing things. Our 3 kids are grown, but no grandkids yet. What berries do you grow? DH and I have strawberries, 5 kinds of raspberries, elderberries, gooseberries, currants and are starting some blackberries. We are trying to get some blueberries and cranberries started but for them our soil needs to be more acid so we're fighting quite a battle with that.
Try out the Welcome Wagon thread. Its a great place to introduce yourself and get to meet others and find common interests. Other favorites of mine are Garden Gate and Farm Kitchen.
Enjoy! Susan
