Posted - Oct 13 2010 : 1:24:02 PM I know exactly where Mary's Oak is. The new Clarksville Greenway is being extended to come out right in that area and the public parking lot has just been completed at the end of Mary's Oak. I walk the Greenway all the time so am excited that we can just park over there soon (I hope) and walk from that direction instead of having to drive all the way to the end of Pollard Road to get to the Greenway. I haven't found any other Farmgirls here in Cville ... maybe I will. But it's nice to meet you. :-) Thanks for chatting with me. |

Posted - Oct 13 2010 : 10:56:38 AM No way!!! Our first house was on Marys Oak Drive!! That's the one just past the Kenwood schools! We missed each other by a year or we would have been neighbors! Yeah our poor grass looks a bit fried too.

Posted - Oct 13 2010 : 10:41:11 AM Thanks, MamaC. I live between Peacher's Mill and Ft. Campbell Blvd. on Pine Mountain Road which starts directly across from the Kenwood schools. A lot of our neighbors are retired military. Our next door neighbor is active military currently deployed in Afghanistan. I love the area. But it has gotten terribly dry over here lately. Everything is crispy. We get over to Nashville several times a year ... hubby goes to Vanderbilt. |

Posted - Oct 13 2010 : 09:50:55 AM How are you liking te area so far? The Army brought us to town and we bought a house off Peachers Mill. We lived there for 4 years then sold it when DH got out. We were thinking we'd be leaving the area plus we'd outgrown it. As luck would have it, he ended up with a job in Nashville so we rented a house off exit 1 for a year while we looked for a house in Nashville.
We finally moved to Nashville in july after almost a year of looking for the perfect home! Aren't you glad you now know our life story??LOL!
If you ever need recommendations or help finding somethig let me know! Ill be happy to help!
