Posted - Sep 09 2010 : 4:03:36 PM Hello all, I recently fell in love with MaryJanesFarm Magazine and of course the books as well. I sadly live a city life, but have big plans to get my own farm one day. I'm glad I was able to find a group that wants to lead a more simple life! This Christmas has been declared a "homemade" Christmas and I look forward to getting tips and tricks from all you knowledgeable farmgals.

Posted - Sep 19 2010 : 7:53:50 PM I'm doing a handmade christmas also. I've been making greeting cards all summer and I think I may record some christmas music on cd's to include with the card. Since I make my own soaps & lotions most people are looking forward to receiving them. Can't decide on what to give to small children yet. I guess I could make assorted cookies for them. I think I'm gonna do as Kris suggests and head on over to the holiday forum.

Posted - Sep 11 2010 : 08:59:22 AM Welcome Steffanie most of all of us started with Maryjane mags. Just love them. These girls can be so helpful so it is worth the small price of mags and the farmgirl membership to also get the click. Good add ons for all. Lilly in Virginia

Posted - Sep 10 2010 : 09:23:00 AM Hi, Steffanie. Welcome from Glide, OR. It's about 3 hours from you over by Roseburg. I usually pass through Bend a couple of times a summer on my way to riding and camping in the Three Sisters Wilderness. Central OR is a beautiful area.
I am planning on knitting or crocheting socks for Christmas gifts. All of my friends have a favorite color so I can make the same thing and still have it special.
