Posted - Sep 22 2010 : 4:27:53 PM I feel like a little girl on the first day of school introducing myself to a new friend. I'm from rural mid-Missouri. I teach art to little kids and have to admit I love every minute of it. Even the endless messes. I'm married to the butcher, who doubles as my bff. We don't have any kids, but want them more than just about anything. I've lived in small town USA my whole life, and have been reading MJ's books and magazines for a couple years. I've always romanticized about a simpler, more self-sufficient way of life. And that's why I'm here... I want to use this forum, not only to connect with others (b/c I find it hard to find people interested in the farmgirl ways), but to learn and be motivated to fulfill my dreams. Dreams of bees, eggs, veggies and new farmgirl friendships.
Thanks for listenin'

Posted - Sep 23 2010 : 5:08:03 PM Thanks Ladies for the warm welcome!!! I've decided to start working on my first merit badge. I don't remember the name of the badge, but it has to do with eating locally and organically. I, also, have to read Animal, Vegetable, Miracle which is convenient because I had already started reading it.

Lifes not the breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away.
Just a small town country girl, farmgirl, loggergirl, trying to live her dreams. :)
P.s. I've been playing around with the spelling of my name ( weird I know) and I've decided that I will stick with Hannah for good. Sorry I got you all confused. Hugs!! |
