Posted - Oct 20 2010 : 12:58:03 PM Hi all, Thought I'd swing by and say howdy after a VERY long hibernation away from the forum. We moved to our very own ranch 2 years ago and we are living off the grid! We absolutely love it here! But also around the same time my back problems got more intense, so I've had to take things as easy as possible. As you can imagine, that's really hard to do when one has the lifestyle we do! Anyhoo, looks like I have a lot to catch up on with all the members. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone. Big hugs, Lu

Posted - Oct 25 2010 : 5:28:51 PM Hi, Lu! Great to have you back! I still cherish my dolly look a like you made for me. The glasses still make me laugh when I look at her. I gave her a 1930's Shirley Temple doll case for her clothes and accessories. LOL! She's a treasure.

Posted - Oct 20 2010 : 5:56:13 PM Thanks Cynthia for the warm welcome! It feels like I'm brand new here again, if that makes sense?! It will be fun to learn about everyone tho. About the back... I have 4 herniated discs, degenerative(sp?) disc disease, arthritis and I just recently learned that I have scoliosis! Can you believe it? I'm 55 yrs old and have had back problems all my life, and have been to countless "specialists" to only now find out the root of the problem! Oh, I won't bore you all with my ailments! There's too many other fun things to talk about. I'm just excited and happy to be back here on the forum! And Cynthia, what are these shapely painted nails you speak of??? Oh and isn't it great to return home from a day of errand running in town to only discover you've had hay in your hair the entire time!? Hugs, Lu

Posted - Oct 20 2010 : 4:47:53 PM Hi Luzy! Glad you're back!! I've just returned from my own hibernation from the forum. I've been reading Mary Jane Farm Magazine in the interim and OMG I had to come back! This group has been so sweet. Living off the grid..wow that is such a dream for us. And yep understand about the physical pain and farm life. I'm the only one at work that has a farm and while everyone comes back to work on Monday all refresh, I come dragging in with bruises, scratches..and OMG my nails are never shaped or painted..unlike every other lady there.... lol I don't really care. So find a comfie place, if you don't tell me what happened or what type of pain you have in your back.. and read on..comment... and get to know us...again. Hugs! Cynthia |
