Posted - Oct 26 2010 : 10:57:43 PM Didn't realize how much time has lapsed, but I'm embarrassed to say that it's been three years since I've been on the forum. Trust me, A LOT has happened in those three years. It's good to see that there are still some very familiar names on the forums and lots and lots of new Farm Girl sisters to get to know. Wow, I am so behind times. But I did just buy the newest MJF magazine and starting next week will (hopefully) will have some time to do some thorough reading. I look forward to getting reacquainted with this whole world that got me so excited about living on the farm and having like-minded friends - MJF. We still haven't made it to our own farm, but I'm a curator for an historic farmstead. So we're getting closer - this is my practice run.
It will certainly be good to get to know everyone again. Amazingly, I have maintained contact with two Farm Girls that I met when I first found this forum about 5 years ago. It has been awesome - we've never met yet, but have never wavered in our friendships and common bonds. I've been so blessed by knowing Sue and Kay.
I'd especially love to know if there are any farmgirls from the Southeast MO or Southern IL area so we could get together sometime. Anyone out there from these areas?
Thanks for letting me ramble on, blessings to you all. Lynda L.
