Posted - Nov 17 2010 : 5:45:36 PM Hello from these 2 fine states MD and PA.
We have a house in the captial of Md and love sailing, but we missed being in the country souranded by nature.
My partner and I loved to camp but it was taking it's toll on our weekends, so we finally made the move and found ourselves a piece of heaven in PA.
Our weekends our now taken up with fixing up a 1040's farm house with 5 acres that we bought to bring our souls back to nature.
My love of gardening is being fulfilled and my life is very full now with my crafts, gardens and taking care of our 6 house rabbits.
Gerry is in MD during the week working a full time retirement job, so I am in PA bymyself during the weeks. At first it was very lonely but now I find I love the quiet.
Peacefull living to all. Mel

Posted - Nov 17 2010 : 6:05:27 PM Welcome from Minnesota, I can only claim one state though. I'm glad you found a place even though you're not both ther full time now. Maybe a closer job will come up. It takes time to adapt to a big change like that but to have the peace and quiet. You will love it here, so many talented, capable, kind new friends. Susan
