Hi all. I am a young stay at home mom living in rural Vermont. We just had our second child (three weeks ago) and I am loving having a little one again. I'm also realizing that I am in need of friends who share the farmgirl at heart mentality. Don't have too many around me here (surprisingly enough, considering where I live). I love to quilt, I actually have my own business selling quilts and other stuff on Etsy (www.curlysquilts.etsy.com). I also scrapbook when I can get to it, garden (both flowers and veggies), and read anything interesting. Looking forward to meeting some of you. Hope everyone is enjoying the season!

Sarah

Welcome Sarah. There are a lot of Vermont Gals on here. Maybe some of them will seek you out! Just cruise around on here and maybe you'll bump into them. Enjoy!

Welcome Sarah: So glad you came to be with us, I'm sure you will find a lot on neat friends and lot of useful information. I can well imagine how limited your time is with two little ones. Just keep smiling as they grow up so fast, seems like in the blink of an eye. I can still look back and remember my kids(54-48) when they were young and it brings up so many good memories, but on the other hand I'm 'Wom' to 13 grand kids, love 'em all. Have a wonderful evening, give the babies a hug and know we are glad you came to join us. Lola

Every day, in every way, I become better and better.

Hi Sarah!

Welcome from an ex-Vermonter! I grew up in Springfield and then lived in Chester for 10 years before moving to PA in 1985. I know the Northeast Kingdom well.

Hope you enjoy it here at MJF as much as I do!

Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. Sorry I am so slow in responding, but as you can guess with two little ones, life is very busy, and finding the time to get online is challenging.

To Jennifer: I hope you don't mind, but I'm not totally comfortable revealing my location. I will say that I am in the Northeast Kingdom. If you are familiar with Vermont, you'll have a general idea of where I am. I'm guessing you stay on the western side of the state. I can see the Conneticut from my house, so I'm pretty eastern.

Welcome, Sarah!

What part of Vermont are you from? We live in New York State, but have relatives near the border, and travel in Vermont a lot.

Lifes not about the breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away.

Just a small town country girl, farmgirl, loggergirl, trying to live her dreams. :)

P.s. I've been playing around with the spelling of my name ( weird I know) and I've decided that I will stick with Hannah for good. Sorry I got you all confused. Hugs!!

Welcome Sarah,

I think you will fill the need for farm girl friendships here. I was already lucky enough to meet three farm girls in person a few weeks ago. It was great fun.
i have been a member for just over a month.

Congratulations on your new baby.
