Just wanted to say a quick hello and introduce myself.
My name is Carrie and I'm from upstate NY.
I live out in corn country with my husband on our 1 acre "farm" where I love to quilt, crochet, rock garden, spred love on my herbs and eat all of the raspberries in the spring and fall before anyone else can get to them :)(plus about a million other things I love to do...)
I share my home with 7 cats, 5 Sugar Gliders and a very happy hive of "wild" honey bees.
I hope to learn how to spin this winter. My husband came from a very farmy family and I am hoping to aquire all of his moms old spinning wheels and looms.
I'm really excited to be here and hope to make many new friends!

Hi Carrie,
Glad that you found us! Thank you for introducing yourself. This is a wonderful place and group of women.

I am just east of you in the city. I love to ride my bike through your neck of the woods. The farms and gardens are lovely. My all time favorite road to ride on is south of you in LeRoy, the Oatka Trail Road.

Enjoy the snowy day!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Brenda, I'd love for all of us Ra-cha-cha farm girls to be able to get together. I have a 600 square foot deck and patio that has some great sunset views in the summer and fresh grown mint for the Mojitos :)

Welcome Carrie from another NY'er! I am on the other side of Rochester from you! I bet we're only just over an hour from each other! There are some other girls on here too, from the same general area, and I know of at least one from the city.
You are going to love it here, I do! :)

Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Welcome Carrie,

This place is a lot of fun and you can pick up some great ideas, too. Hope you enjoy. We used to live in Liverpool (Syracuse area), but I am not sure where Byron is!

Welcome Carrie (CalamityAnnie)!!

I have only been around for about a week myself and I already feel right at home.
This is a wonderful place and I know you'll meet a lot of wonderful people here--as I have.

Enjoy!
