Hi Penny and welcome to MJF's. Wow you've joined at a great time. I think Ohio is sending lots of her women here so bonus for you as you might have a henhouse close by. Don't be shy here just jump right in :) Everyone is nice and friendly and very helpful. I love antiques and wish I had lots of room so I could have a houseful LOL. Lucky for hubby we have a small Victorian cottage instead. I've seen pics of mini horses and they're so danged cute I'd love to have one or at least see one up close and give it a hug :) Also an animal lover here although I did have kids but they've all flown the coop so now I have furry babies :) Welcome again and is so nice to say hello :)

Hi Penny! I am new too and from Ravenna Ohio. Your farm sounds serene. And I would love to visit your store. I have kids and furbabies. But not as many furbabies as you have. I love the forum already because every one I 'meet' seems to share my interests and be so genuine. Hope you feel more comfortable and less scared. Glad to know there are sisters in Ohio and I hope to visit your store!

Hi Penny - I'm fairly new too. Just getting into the swing of this - and I'm loving it. Soooo many interesting farmgirls. I love looking at everyone's blogs/photos - I'm so impressed with everyone. I lived in Wadsworth, OH in the mid 80s for a couple years - then back home. Your farm and shop sound wonderful. I have a couple dogs - my children are grown - I love my pups and would like to have more animals some day - maybe after we retire and buy more land... Take care,

Lorraine

Hello Penny, welcome to our "farm." Glad you stepped up to the plate and said Hi. We really aren't so scary. LOL I never could have kids either. But animals do fill that gap for me. Wow, you sure do have a nice assortment of animals. I love house bunnies and have had a few over the years. I lost my latest "Bunny-boy" in March, he was 9 1/2.I'm just now thinking of getting another, maybe in Spring. It costs so much to have them altered and it's something I always do for their health. We'll see. Where is E.Palestine? I know I've been thru there. We're probably next door to each other and don't even know it.hahaha So glad you joined us.

Welcome from the middle of a Minnesota blizzard. If you've been around for a while you already know what a great place this is. You will find so much in common with many others. We have a big garden, I can and freeze a lot too. I enjoy crafting and sewing. I'm no expert on antiques but enjoy the beauty and craftsmanship of them. I wish I was close enough to visit your store, it sounds great.

Glad you finally got the courage to say 'hello' to us! And a big hello from a fellow Ohioan (about 15 minutes northeast of Findlay.) I have two grown kids from my first marriage but can't have any more with my forever friend and DH. Does that count? We have 5 cats and love'm all!

Anyhoot, good luck with your new store and hope to hear more from your corner of Ohio!

Hello Penny and thanks for introducing yourself! I'm a couple hours away from you, near Cleveland. Your farm and antique store sound fantastic- I'm envious! What kind of chickens do you have? My family and are are living in the city for now, but saving our pennies for a farm. We had chickens before we moved out here, and can't wait to start again (plus maybe goats and bees too!)

Have a lovely day!
