I am a retired business owner living in Apopka with my husband, a cat and a Yorkie. Originally from Alpena, Michigan (where I discovered MaryJanes magazine this fall) I am enjoying knitting, crochet, cooking, traveling and photography. I am also a brain cancer survivor (3+ years).

Thank you for the warm welcome! I've been keeping an eye on weather up north as we'll be spending Christmas in my hometown, Alpena (Michigan) where they've got plenty of snow! Here in Apopka the local nurseries deal with the freezing temperatures by turning on their sprinklers resulting in some beautiful ice formations like this "Ice Rose".

Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Welcome Anna Mae from neighboring Largo, Fl. Yes indeed it is very cold here. Have been stoking the fire for the last week to keep warm. I do love the cold weather, however I don't like to be cold!
