Posted - Dec 17 2010 : 4:36:02 PM Hello! Arkansas country girl currently living in central WA and loving it. I miss my family and friends in AR but we're settling in nicely out here. My dh's job keeps us in the city limits but we have a big enough back yard so as to keep myself and the 2 dogs from feeling too cooped up. Lots of trails and public land for us to explore out here too.
I'm a jack of all trades and master of none. I like gardening (mainly edible), love herbs, and any thing to do with self suffiency and/or survival. I also dabble in all sorts of crafts...crochet, sewing, quilting, anything hand made. I love learning new things.

Posted - Dec 27 2010 : 10:11:11 AM Welcome Kellie, From a Florida farmgirl at heart! Can you believe it is 40 degrees right now here? Very unusual weather for us. But, it is the normal crazy type this year. A few days of cold then jumps back up near 80 for two days then back down to 40's or 50's.
No wonder I can't get rid of this cold!!!!!

Posted - Dec 21 2010 : 09:01:41 AM I have lived in Quitman, Mt Vernon, Traskwood, Conway and Little Rock, Arkansas Mostly central and north central. We did a small time in Midwest City, OKC and Biloxi, MS (Airforce) and we are now in Yakima.
Man I miss those Hope Watermelons. It's really weird for this southern girl when I talk about catfish and hushpuppies and people here ask me what is a hushpuppie? I nearly fell out of my chair the first time. lol

Just a small town country girl, farmgirl, loggergirl, trying to live her dreams. :)
P.s. I've been playing around with the spelling of my name ( weird I know) and I've decided that I will stick with Hannah for good. Sorry I got you all confused. Hugs!! |
